I’ve been kind of terrible about keeping up with bookish news because this summer has been crazy (maybe I’ll have a Book Ishness updates post next month and some reading updates soon?).
But there are two exciting (time-sensitive) bookish things of awesome I want to make sure you hear about! (Unless, of course, you already have, if you’re following my other blog or my social media. XD)
ANYHOO.
1. Silmaril Awards Voting Closing Sept. 13!
Firstly, make sure you get your votes in for your favorite fantasy characters in the SILMARIL AWARDS because voting ends today (Friday the 13th — ooh, ominous — at 11:59 Central). SO HURRY!

2. Giveaway on my other blog! (Ends Sept. 16)
And I’m celebrating my 6 year anniversary of starting a blog, over on my other blog, and giving away copies of Dealing with Dragons and Searching for Dragons (US only) and 4 swag-packs of a handful of misc. fantasy bookmarks etc. (INT).

2.5: I’m not dead
So yes, that’s the news I wanted to share, and otherwise, I’m not dead, I’m (sorta) reading, and I will try to be back soonish with some fun bookish posts again! I’ve been recovering from a crazy summer, what can I say. XD (And obsessively posting on my Bookstagram every day for a few months now, which mayyy be distracting me from blogging. Just a little. :P)
